Safeguarding

Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do at Stapleford Community Primary School.

Mrs Rawlings and Mrs Hore are the designated safeguarding leads and any concerns or worries should be discussed with them.

Please see the documents below for further details as to how we support and details as to how we keep children safe.

Volunteers

We are delighted to have a great number of volunteers who help support the school in a variety of ways.

We really benefit a great deal from their support, you have the most amazing skills and talents! However, as safeguarding the children is of paramount importance to us, we request that volunteers complete some straightforward steps, including providing references that will always be checked prior to starting.

For school trips and in school support a DBS clearance is required, as are 2 references.

Online Safety

The children are taught about online safety, and there are also some very useful and effective resources families can share too.

CEOP has some super resources called ‘Jessie and Friends’ suitable for children aged 4-7.

See the link here.

Jessie & Friends provides information and advice to parents and carers to support ongoing conversations with their child about the internet and online safety.’

CEOP have just released some excellent resources about the dangers of online streaming, do take a look here.
