Here you will find out all sorts of useful curriculum information and updates as to what we are doing in class.
Bonjour!
On Friday 1st July, Oak class will be having a French day!
As part of the day the children will be playing games, singing songs and participating in a variety of activities designed to improve their French conversation skills.
Of course we can’t have French day without food – the children will have the opportunity to taste a selection of French cuisine in their very own café. Over the last few weeks the children have been working very hard to create beautiful French Menus - if you would like to pop into class and have a look at their work or fancy a little French conversation then do please feel free to come along from 2:45 onwards.
To really enter into the spirit, all children are invited to wear red, white and blue outfits, or any suitable outfit or accessories which look typically French.
We look forward to a fun and interesting day, practising some French and perhaps even enjoying temperatures which could make us believe we are in the south of France!

Autumn Is
A cobweb dancing in the wind
Acorns tumbling from the trees
Bonfires blazing on icy nights
Conkers plunging silently
Autumn Is
Drooping flowers collapsing
Gleaming leaves of orange and red
Frozen trees shivering
Swarming, swirling clouds
Autumn Is
Transparent rain
Feisty squirrels gathering velvety acorns
Warm hedgehogs curling up
The stretch of a morning bird
Autumn Is
Rustling, tustling leaves
Rough gravel crunching
A ripe apple darting
Cracked conkers collapsing
Autumn Is
Crispy trees lying bare
Puddles freezing gracefully
Grey fog appearing
Robins fluttering through sycamores
Autumn Is
Dark shadows stretching
Like an alligator’s tail
A splash of ice
People strolling to their warm homes
