Computers and technology are ever present in our lives and will play an even more important role in thee lives of the children at Stapleford Community Primary School.
Computing both motivates and facilitates learning. Computing supports all areas of the curriculum, and is used in all classes. Children are taught digital literacy, information technology an computer science.
We have invested in IT in recent years, and each class has an interactive whiteboard, at least one ipad, and access to the 45 chromebooks on one of 2 trolleys. There are several digital cameras, a 3D printer, a set of beebots as well as other resources. We use the Rising Stars 'Switched on Computing' scheme to help. We are delighted to have several code clubs running after school, made possible by the enthusiasm and skill of our parents.
