Welcome back – We hope you all enjoyed a pleasant Easter break.
Time seems to be flying by as we enter the final term of the year! The children have all come back motivated and ready for a busy few weeks. Thank you for your continued support at home – it makes a massive difference.
As you are aware, the SATs tests will be taking place the week beginning 14th May. These next couple of weeks will mostly be about revision. We have covered most of the Year 6 Maths and English curriculum now, so it will be about going back over areas and providing as much individual support as we can.
We want the children to feel confident and prepared and will encourage them to ask us to go over any areas they feel they would still like some additional help with. Please do support your child at home by helping them to complete their revision tasks to the best of their ability.
We will ensure that the children do get some ‘down time’, so please ensure they have their PE kit in school and a water bottle now that the weather is getting warmer. Thank you!
After the SATs have finished, the children will be participating in a whole host of fun activities including our residential trip to Grafham Water. More details regarding the trip will follow shortly, including a list of items to bring.
We are really looking forward to this term but are aware your child is facing a time of change. Hopefully they are excited, but if they have any worries please do not hesitate to get in contact.
